Lack of Planning
Planning out your paving, whether the project is big or small, is essential in getting the results you want. Poor planning has led to many mistakes, wasting your time and money. If you’re building a new home, your time is already being consumed by planning. Don’t write off planning your paving projects and end up spending more time and money than you planned.
Sacrificing Quality for Cost
With the recession not far behind us, it might seem tempting to cut costs wherever you can and certain things you can! When building a new home, there are a few things you shouldn’t shortcut. Take a minute to check out some areas you can save money without sacrificing quality!
Cutting Corners:
Curtains, bedding, & décor…
Easily replaceable and inexpensive household items are the perfect corner cutters. Decorating your home shouldn’t cost a fortune. HVAC Systems, Flooring, & Paving…
Larger home projects that are more permanent and naturally more expensive should never cut corners. Projects such as Heating and Air Conditioning systems, Flooring, and Paving are going to be more expensive, but you want to make sure you get them done the right way. Consult a few local contractors to see what the cost will be and what the project with entail. With these things, doing your homework is essential. Get a contractor you can trust with the permits and licenses they need to get the job done correctly.

Are there specific months in the year that paving / repaving should NOT be done? Thanks!
I definitely agree with the point you made about sacrificing quality for for cost. I’ve seen a lot of driveways done by some shady paving companies and they will be lucky if their driveway lasts 10 years. Paving a driveway isn’t cheap, but replacing it twice in 20 years is more expensive than paying for a quality paving job the first time around.
My home needs a good pavement. I was wondering about cost, time and options so I can plan it. Do you offer free estimates?
Thank you
